This is the fact that..
blogging so often = a glamorous highlight reel.
Right?
Cause it so does.
"Even the fights seem glamourous," she said honestly.
And isn't this the truth. And it's probably true for this here blog as well.
And while this is true. And while no one's life is ever all sparkles - as it is so often displayed through blogs. And while this truth has played its vicious little game on our marriage as well {i.e. "comeon' husband. why aren't you as romantic as like 90% of the other blogger hubbys out there. Why don't you plan campout dates in the living room?" Or, "Why don't you wake me up with a kiss every morning?" Or, here's a gooder, "Why don't you plan a surprise trip to Hawaii and pack my suitcase with all new clothes so it's a COMPLETE surprise. Yah, why don't you do that?!?!"}
...while all that is true, I still can't help but want to compliment each tiff with the other side about forgiveness and grace we always end up offering one another. Cause we always do. I have about a 2 hour window where I can stay mad at this here face.
And maybe, just maybe I think it's okay, perhaps even better, to show both the mess and the cleanup.
Anyways, all that to say, folks. Believe me when I say it ain't all roses in our little house. And while the roses might get mentioned here more often than the poopoo times, I can guarantee you that they're there.
But so is grace & love.
God, help us.
p.s. thanks, Adriana. Thanks for reminding me of this. xoxo.
